The first question most people ask me is "Who are you and what are you doing in my bushes?"

This is usually followed by "How did you get the sheep to dance the Flamenco?"

Then they want to know, what is Dreck?

DRECK (drek)-noun : slang : trash, especially inferior merchandise
ETYMOLOGY: German, dirt, trash :Yiddish 'drek', excrement, both from Middle High German 'drec'

Hamish's Dreck began in 2001 as a hobby and a desire to use up a pile of leather that had been sitting in my closet for 2 years. Over 10 years, 2 bedrooms and a garage full of leather and tools later, we are a full time operation selling handmade leather costumes and accessories, Sharp Shiny Pointy objects, and a host of other items while maintaining reasonable prices. We can be found in person at Renaissance Faires and SCA Events around the SouthEast and beyond.

We try to keep most items in stock, but some things may be subject to waiting for supplies, to be finished in the workshop, or for us to return home from a show.
